Sales coaching is about strategizing and finding a plan that works best for YOUR business. This is what is going help set a client up for success.
It’s easy to just want an answer on how to boost your sales and achieve your goals, and you’ll want a coach to give you exactly what you’re looking for. In these moments it’s important not to get distracted by a large end goal, and deeply embrace the process of building your own business off of your own ideals and goals. It requires patience in order for it to be sustainable.
What I Wish I Would Have Known About Sales Coaching Before
I wish I would have known that there is no perfect way to run a business to achieve my goals.
There was not a perfect plan for me. A good sales coach will not give you strategies that worked for their other clients. They will work with you and tailor to your business’ needs. My clients are successful because they all have their own individual sales strategies. They did the work themselves, and took a good look at their business and what their goals were. From there they were able to cultivate a strategy that worked for them, therefore boosting their sales.
I also wish I would have known that this was the best investment I made in my business.
Sales coaching ended up being the best thing I did for boosting my sales. I acknowledge that it won’t be the case for everyone. In my case, I was not making enough sales, and if I was they were sporadic or not high-ticket enough. If you aren’t making sales, you don’t have a business.
For a while, I denied that I needed sales coaching. It didn’t feel necessary, and I didn’t want to take the time to do something I didn’t think I needed. I thought I could be growing my Instagram or doing all of these other courses that would instantly make my business skyrocket. Even though I was doing what all of these different courses told me to do in order to make more money and grow my business, I still wasn’t making sales.
I had a lot of anxiety about sales. I don’t have a background in it, and I just wanted my business to flourish as much as it could. I was seeing all of these other entrepreneurs who had more knowledge about sales than I did. However, since I went through sales coaching and took the time to learn more, my business has flourished, and I’m able to offer it to others.

Sales coaching is one of the best things I did for my business.
