Leah Gervais: Welcome back to the show. So this is like an inception podcast episode. If you’re watching this live, you don’t really know what I’m talking about, but if you’re listening to the podcast and you are used to listening to my podcast and I’m here to talk about my new other podcasts , I know it’s kind of confusing, but it’s really exciting.
I wanna share what it is, uh, how you can, you know, get in on it, what it means for you and how you can make the most of it.
So if you are new here, my name is Leah. I am the host of the Your Biggest Vision podcast. I am a seven-figure business owner. I am a new mom. I work three days a week, and I turned my struggling side hustle into a six, then seven-figure business in the course of five years.
And I help my clients have incredible, huge results in their life and business as well. I’m obsessed with what I do. I’m obsessed with success for myself, for others, and just making the most out of life.
So recently, as much as I, I have loved this podcast for almost four years now. I’ve been doing it for quite a while, which is really crazy. Um, but I recently, I would say pretty much since I hit seven figures last year in 2021, I have been craving a different medium, a different platform to share some of the behind the scenes workings of my business that isn’t this podcast. And I know that that might sound weird because it’s like, why don’t you just share it publicly?
Honestly, I couldn’t really put my finger on it, but it just felt more and more apparent to me that there was sort of this difference between the content I was sharing publicly, like going for your dreams and taking big risks and how to think successfully and how to, um, you know, learn from your past mistakes and how to not listen to the advice of others that doesn’t serve you.How my story helps with all of that.
And I still think all of that is so powerful, but there seems to be a sort of smaller niche within my audience that I really have been craving connection and correspondence with that it just didn’t feel right to sort of like, you know, use my very public platforms like my Instagram platform, like my email list, which has a lot of people on it, or like my podcast to talk about some of these more complex things.
So we started a secret podcast called Seven Figure Secrets. I just wanted to make it really clear, no guessing. And it is a free podcast. You just need to sign up for it. And you can do that via the link in my bio on Instagram. You can do that. Um, if you’re on my email list, we’ve sent it out, I will add it to my website.
I just realized I haven’t done that yet. So you will be able to join it from my website. Uh, by the time you listen to this and it’s totally free, when you sign up, you’ll get a little link that then redirects you to the podcast platform of your choosing via Apple podcast. Um, I don’t think we do Spotify, but other ones.
And you can listen for free right there and you get the whole feed of them. So if you’re interested in learning more about, you don’t have to have already have a seven-figure business to benefit from this, um, you’ll most benefit from it if you’re kind of close, Like if you’re in the few hundreds of thousands and you really want to kind of catapult into your next level.
You will also benefit from it though, if you haven’t even hit six figures, but you know, you want to one day and you’re just really trying to build this foundational, right? Although if you’re in that place, I encourage you to take action above consuming more content because that is really, you know, what’s, what’s going to move the needle at this point.
So some of the things that we have already created are episodes on my coaching package Evolution, how I went from charging $1,500 for coaching to in 2023, the price will be 100,000.
Um, what that looked like, how I decided on my pricing, how I still decide on pricing, how I deal with my skepticism of the coaching industry on regulations in the industry, how I deal with the sort of like checks and balances within yourself of pushing yourself and wanting to strive for more and achieve all that you can.
But, also staying in integrity and not doing things that don’t feel good, things that feel like they don’t have any substance to them, and what that kind of balance can look like.
Uh, I talk about the mindset fears I’ve worked through as I’ve gone through that as well. Um, and you know, what I see people kind of need to ask or need to think about when they’re deciding what their own pricing is. I did another episode on getting out of the either or mindset.
If you’re an entrepreneur thinking that you need to spend your money either on your business or on yourself personally, I have seen so many very smart, very capable entrepreneurs completely halt their progress because life gets in the way. Like they’ll have a medical bill come up or they’ll beat, need to save for their wedding, or they’ll meet, they wanna save for a house.
That’s when I hear a lot. Or they just have a lot of family stuff going on right now, and I’m not trying to undermine that. Life gets in the way. Like that’s very real.
I’ve been there if you know my story, you know that I built my business when I was in the hardest time of my life with extreme grief. I planned my wedding while my business like, like right around when my business was hitting six figures, which was exciting. I’ve gotten pregnant, had a baby, all of it.
So I know that life is real and I know that things can feel unmanageable at times, but when we get out of that, I need to deal with my life first. Then my business mindset. You don’t solve the life of your business and then your business is able to support you more in your life. It’s able to support you more financially. It’s able to give you an outlet for joy if you’re going through something hard. Um, it’s able to help you feel a sense of identity.
I know that that really helped me when I both, when I was grieving and when I was a new mom. Um, you know, grief felt all consuming. And if I didn’t have my business to sort of channel my own self and my own happiness into, then I don’t think I would’ve really had any purpose, um, at the time.
And same thing with being a new mom. I mean, very different, but being a new mom was so unfamiliar, right? I didn’t know how to do anything. I didn’t know how to be a mom. I didn’t know how to take care of this baby. I didn’t know how to breastfeed. All of it felt like a foreign language and business was something I felt good at.
So all this is to say that if you can delete that either or mindset of being a business owner and being a person, your business will actually help you in life rather than it feeling like it’s taking away from decisions in your life.
I talk all about that in the episode called The One Mindset that will keep you from building real wealth. True. Some other episodes we have coming up, I think I’m gonna do a full episode that goes through every step of my automated sales funnels.
So the step by step process begins to end for when, uh, someone finds out who I am to become a customer, all without me doing anything. I feel like passive income is something people want a lot and they feel very, very, like they’ll do almost anything for it.
Um, and I’m probably not everyone’s favorite coach because I’m very blunt about how much you have to work to get passive income. I think everyone loves the Senate and forgot its mindset, and that doesn’t really exist.
Uh, nonetheless, you can certainly automate things just so things are happening while you’re, you know, doing other things in your life.And I very much believe in that and I can show you how to do that. Um, so that is something we’ll talk about.
I also think I’m going to talk about it. I had another idea, but I can’t exactly remember at this time. Oh, like hard legal things, like how to deal with someone wanting to break a contract or how to deal with someone using your stuff. You know, things that you don’t wanna deal with, you don’t think you need to deal with, but I don’t know any seven-figure business entrepreneurs not dealing with them.
How do you process that? How do you stay an integrity and keep your own boundaries? Why, while not, you know, trying to burn a bridge and things like that. So that is a little sneak peek inside this, this Secret podcast. Um, if you guys have any requests, let me know.

Um, you know, big lessons I’ve learned from my team, Big lessons I’ve learned from my clients, how my clients are, uh, doing one of my clients. It’s so funny because she signed on with me in January and when we talked at the end of last year, she was like, My goal is to hit six figures in 2022 in cash, not in sales, in cash. So that was her goal. She signed on with me. It was a risk, it was a big financial investment, all this stuff.
And yesterday she did it. She hit six figures in cash, three months ahead of schedule, three months. So anyway, stuff like that.
