LG Mastermind Retreat- Paris, 2025
In September 2025, my annual Mastermind retreat went oversees for the first time in six years of hosting them. This trip was a dream come true and turned out even better than I had hoped. It’s hard to put into words the magic that transpired with an intimate group of powerhouse women. A group who had spent the entire year on coaching calls together, in daily Voxer chats, supporting each other through the challenges of entrepreneurship and celebrating the wins.
Here’s a look inside our time together…
Deciding where to host
My retreats are a mix of intensive, focused coaching with my clients, plus a dreamy vacation to soak up the location.
After much research on where I’d host the coaching sessions, I decided to find a hotel with a suite and host it right in the hotel room. It felt much more intimate, unique and softer than conference rooms in a hotel, and much more relaxed than renting various work rooms throughout the city.
We started the retreat on Sunday night with a group coaching session. We centered into hearing where each Mastermind member was before coming on the retreat, and what they were most craving to get from it. The conversations started with business and naturally extended into life, motherhood, personal goals, personal doubts and clarity around what they’re really working toward.
Our first dinner was at a delicious cafe and I’m still thinking about the food we had. We had more personal shares and expansions on how our evening started.
After dinner, we all took a leisurely stroll from dinner down to the Seine.
I had no “topic” or focused scheduled for this walk, but unsurprisingly, it’s where so much magic still happened. In particular, I walked with one of my members where we workshopped an in person event for her and her community. At dinner, we uncovered how valuable in-person work could be from her otherwise very online business.
Five weeks later, she’s already planned, advertised, and hosted the event, and even made a profit on it! All from a sunset stroll in Paris.
We ended our first night together on a Seine cruise under the twinkling lights of the beautiful city, and went home for a good night’s sleep.
Day 2
Originally, I had planned on this day having three, 2-hour group coaching sprints. I had workshops prepared, partner exercises planned and assigned, and a curriculum I was excited to share.
When I went back to my hotel room the night before, after our boat cruise, I was reviewing my notes. And it hit me: these women need some laser focused coaching time. So, I quickly changed plans. I assigned them each a time to come to my suite for individual coaching the next day, and then invited a member that would benefit from hearing me coach them to sit in on the session. Then, my assistant booked them each their own massages for the times in which they weren’t being coached/ observing coaching.
This was one of the highlights of the retreat and something I had never done at a Mastermind retreat before. I’m SO grateful I tuned into what would most serve them instead of sticking to a rigid schedule. The group dynamic was already strong, and now they had a relaxing massage and an in-depth private coaching session in the mix, too.
We talked about individual money mindset blocks, crafted a VIP offer, set up new ad campaigns and… got so much done!
After our coaching sessions, we all piled into an SUV and made our way to go shopping!
We started at Gucci, got some Lauderee macaroons to fuel us through, stopped at Hermes, and finished at the Galaries Lafayettes where we splurged on scarves and sunglasses.
Day 3
We started the day with a group PHOTOSHOOT over the Seine. This was SO much fun and I’ll always cherish these photos. To boot, the photographer was the woman who my husband hired to shoot our surprise engagement years ago!
The first half of the day was packed with our final work sessions and group coaching.
We worked on their lead generation strategies and how they can increase their passive sales.
Then, we had our final event as a group (tears!). We enjoyed oysters and champagne under the Eiffel Tower and had a beautiful, long lunch.
The lunch conversation was: what’s the big, scary goal you’re leaving Paris with?
We all left this trip as a new, elevated version of ourselves, and I’ll truly never forget it.
