Hot Mom Vision + Values

Week 1

We’ll come together to (re)evaluate our personal deepest values in this season of motherhood. What we need, and our kids need, is always changing. Instead of letting the evolution carry us, this is our chance to pause and get clear on how we want to experience this particular season as a mom entrepreneur.

We’ll have a weekly Voxer discussion and journal prompts on the hot mom habits we’re committing to, and our weekly call will focus on values + vision, which make what you say yes to enthusiastic and what you say no to simple.

Designing Your Dream Schedule

Week 2

This is where we’ll proactively and intentionally create our dream schedule for the fall and 2025-2026 school year. Of course, we’ll prioritize what the kids need. But we’ll also actually schedule in what mom needs. Think self-care appointments based on cycle syncing, working block using time blocking, weekly checklists for business growth, and “inspiration lists” to continually fill our soul. Not to mention girl time, partner time, and family time. We’ll also evaluate what you’re actually spending your time doing in your business and ask the difficult but important questions about if it’s what you actually want to be doing.

Plan Your Family Fall + Holidays

Week 3

Q4 is the most important time of year in the business of a mom entrepreneur. It’s where you can stack your recurring revenue for the entire following year, project your revenue, make hiring decisions, and start savings accounts of specific goals. Having made at least a quarter of a million every Q4 for years, I’m excited to coach you on how you can blow it out of the water in ways you haven’t considered during this time.

Plus, we’ll make our family fall bucket lists, put our fall delights on the calendar like pumpkin patches, Halloween decor, and kid-free weekends away without the kids so we know they actually happen. Get ready to have the best fall yet!

Plan Your Business’ Q4

Week 4

We’ll both set the schedule for your dream holiday season for your family, ahead of time to reduce any unnecessary mom pressure, and coach on what business choices you can make to end the year strong. The holidays can be stressful for parents, but by planning ahead, and doing so in alignment with your values for this season of life, the stress won’t have room. Whether it’s bringing your kids to London to see the holiday decor, booking your favorite local festivities ahead of time, starting a HYSA for holiday gifts early, upgrading your family to business class early for holiday travels, or simply penciling your own personal EOY retreat to plan, you get to do it your way, when you do it with intention.

Betsey Thompson

IG: loadofcrockwithbetsy

1- I am Betsy Thompson, I am in Minnesota, about 20 miles west of Minneapolis. I was born and raised in Iowa, but have been in the Twin Cities for 20+ years, and absolutely love it here. I have a significant other of 18+ years, and we have a 9 year old son, Vaughn who is very active in baseball and hockey, and currently enjoying the joy of summer!

2- Motherhood is in a very busy season for me right now, which I absolutely love, and is one of the main reasons for wanting to jump into this, to help me balance my work with the wild ride of being a mom. We spent May-July at many ballparks during the week and most weekends, and now I am looking forward to taking a breath before Vaughn starts 4th grade in less than a month. I love this time a lot as my son has a wicked sense of humor and is quite independent, and I love watching him grow into the person he has become.

3- I have two businesses, an HR consulting business as well as a creative business. I am really looking forward to making some valuable pivots with both leading up to Q4- extending new and more specific services with my HR business and creating passive sales with my creative business. And really getting organized on how to manage my time most effectively in order to elevate both businesses AND be present as a mom.

Kate Ishay

IG: psychedigitalmarketing

1 – I’m Kate, I’m also a Colorado native and still live in the mountains in the southwest part of the state. Our family is big into the outdoors with mountain biking and hiking. We also love to travel and are working on setting our life up to live our winters in Spain (even though we love the mountains, we don’t do snow). My husband Rotem and I are blessed with one daughter, Maya, who turns 1 in October!

2 – Motherhood is such a gift. We really struggled to have Maya, so we are just trying to enjoy every moment as she grows. She started crawling about a month ago so right now its a lot of chaos management. I’m grateful my work is so flexible, because I’m able to move my schedule around to be available when I want to be.

3 – We are closing in on our first million dollar revenue year. We expect to it that at the end of 2026 if our projections are right. With that we are just finishing a redesign of our website and a ton of positioning work to better meet our audience. There are lots of moving parts right now but its exciting! We did have to do some big pivots over the last two quarters. The current administrations policy changes have deeply affected our clients (lots of CleanTech and renewable energy companies), but we are riding out the storm and seeing some really positive momentum.

Dylan Essertier

IG: dylangracetravels

1. Hi! I’m Dylan, currently living in Carlsbad, California with my 7-month-old son, Palmer

2. Lately, I’ve been loving how playful and curious he’s becoming. It’s wild how much personality fits into such a tiny body

3. I’m a luxury travel journalist, and in my business, I help women travel the world and get paid for it. In the coming months, I’ll be hosting VIP Days with long-time clients in some pretty dreamy places like Hawaii, Florence, and Montecito. I’m really excited for this in-person work in such expansive settings

Alli Williams

IG: financiallifocused

1- I’m Alli! I live in South Carolina on a 25 acre farm with my husband and 2 little boys (4.5 years old and 3 years old). I was born/raised in NY but I’ve been in SC since 2015 and I love it so much.

2- 2 under 2 was rough but now seeing them become BFF is my absolute favorite part  they play so well together and I love that they always look for each other and want to do things together. They’re also just at such a fun age (no more diapers!)

3- I own a financial literacy company, financiALLI focused, and my goal is to help people pay off debt, save, and spend without giving up the things they love!  The summer has been so busy but I’m looking forward to a hopefully calmer fall. My goals for the fall are to continue working on my “passive park sales” with Leah and ramp up my signature coaching program Flourish FinanciALLI

Shannon Delpalma

IG: shannondepalmacoach

1- Hi!! Im Shannon and i spend the summers at our beach house at the jersey shore and we have another house in NJ. I have a 5yr old girl and an almost 4 year old boy! My husband and I have been together for almost 20 years and our life and family feels like my biggest success 🥹

2- my kids are 16 months apart and seeing them becoming BFFs has been so fun and summers with kids.. wow they are magical. I wasnt a big fan of the baby phase but toddler-kid territory is my dream!!

3- Im the Elle Woods of budgeting and my mission is to make money management feel like luxurious self care and not budget restriction! Leah really helped me get clarity this year on being a work from home stay at home (sometimes) mom and that has got me so excited about how motherhood and business fit.

Anna Lamson

IG: annaandtheagency

1. I’m Anna, I live in the South Bay of Los Angeles but grew up in Hawaii. This summer we have been traveling (we’re on week 5!) But we head home on Sunday and I can’t wait. I have 3 kids. My oldest is a boy and he’s almost 9, my second is a girl and she’s 6, and my youngest is also a girl and she’s almost 4. We love where we live, we’re so close to the beach and have a lot of diversity around us. We live right behind my kids school and my kids can wave to us at recess. Counting our blessings because it’s hard to beat! We love to travel and are on the go every summer and Christmas. And spring break. We have to work around school now but so far so good!

2. My favorite part of motherhood, that’s a tough one! I love watching them learn and grow. And I love that they have each other. I tend to put a lot of pressure on myself bc I want to them to be exposed to as much as possible. We do our best!

3. I launched my advertising/ marketing agency after working at agencies for my whole career. Business is growing but I want to find more balance while continuing to grow. A friend of mine and I built a local community of momprenuers but have not monetized it (yet). Looking forward to connecting and learning from you all!

Zandra Bonick

IG: zandrabonick

1. Hi beautiful mamas! I’m Zandra. I’m a Swedish expat living in Chicago with my husband and our two littles, Luca (3, full of opinions) and Sienna (our brand new snuggle queen 🥹).

2. Right now, motherhood looks like…
Newborn cuddles, slow mornings (in theory ), and watching Luca become the sweetest big brother. I’m soaking in this in-between season and loving the reminder to slow down and savor.

3. Business-wise? Big shift alert!
I just made the leap from side hustle to full-time CEO after losing my job last week. But honestly? It feels like a gift. Now I am looking forward to building a business that supports my family in a way that feels expansive.

Now I get to pour into both sides of my business in a bigger way:

As a Client Experience Strategist, I help service-based entrepreneurs create 5-star touchpoints that make clients obsessed — from onboarding to complaint recovery (and everything in between). Think: luxury-level service, but make it digital and doable.

Through Bonick Consultancy, I also help small businesses clean up their books, understand their numbers, and build a more profitable, peaceful business that supports their version of success.

Basically? I’m here to help you make more money and more magic in the way you serve your people.

Sara Iannacone

IG: onewanderfullife_

1- I’m Sara, I live in Stonington, Connecticut, and I’m currently pregnant with my first – a girl, due in November – and was excited when Leah shared this with me to start putting myself in rooms with other badass entrepreneurial mamas. Excited to be here with you all!!
2- Not sure yet  but in pregnancy loving the slowness and grace I’ve been able to give myself as I navigate this life change and a pretty tough first trimester. Currently spending the day at the beach with a friend and her little one and looking forward to more days like this in motherhood.
3- I coach women who’ve lost their spark usually from burnout, big life transitions, or just years of people-pleasing. I use intuitive coaching, Human Design, EFT, and Reiki to help them come home to themselves and back into alignment. While I do solely 1:1 now, I’m looking at creating more digital products to serve more people while I navigate this new phase. I’m also a travel writer and focus mostly on hotels and destinations in Latin America. With baby on the way, I’m thinking a lot about how to keep doing work I love while giving myself more space to slow down and be a mom first and business owner second. So I guess I’m most excited to continue to see how this next iteration of my business and life unfold.

Kari Kress

IG: themamacoach.karikress

I’m Kari. I live just outside of Vancouver, BC, Canada. I have 3 kids – 2 girls and a boy, and they are 9,5 & 18 months.

2. I’m loving spending summer with the kids as they are growing… watching my oldest learn how to use gears on her bike to go up big hills, watching my middle ride her scooter and finally learn to use the brake and not her shoe! And then watching my toddler just wander around and explore things. It’s just so sweet.

3. My business is The Mama Coach and as a registered nurse I’m helping parents with sleep training, lactation consults, prenatal classes etc. I love partnering with parents and hearing their concerns and then creating plans that work for them! I’m excited to build my business more and work less for the hospital, that’s my main goal!

Brittany McCardle

IG: thebiblicalbirthschool

I’m Brittany! I live in North Florida, Atlantic side but spent most of my life in Texas. I just had my seventh baby (six girls and 1 boy!)

2. I’m loving the toddler phase (again) currently but equally loving seeing my oldest blossom into teenagehood (she’s 14.5). Having both toddlers and teenager is literally the best thing ever.

3. I’m the Founder/Creator of The Biblical Birth School and I’m excited to be launching my newest certification program tomorrow. I’m also excited to really pause and think about what I want my business to look like going forward for more ease and more enjoyment in selling. We homeschool and I have a lot to juggle!

Natahlie Pramanik

IG: littlechompions

1- Great to meet everyone! I’m Nathalie Pramanik, I live in NYC, and mom to the sweetest and chattiest toddler boy (3.5yo)

2- I’m loving embracing a slow summer with my son, spending a lot of quality time just the two of us during the week.

3- My business is Little Chompions – we make feeding babies and toddlers easier and more fun by providing educational resources and products to families. We currently only sell physical products (think Lovevery kits for feeding), and Leah has inspired me to create some digital products. I’m excited to launch that part of the business

Nicole Wald

IG: iamnicolemichelle

1. My name is Nicole Michelle Wald. Like Leah, I live in my dream city–Santa Barbara, CA, a fun beach town with a big entrepreneurial spirit. I came here for college from my hometown of San Bernardino, CA. This is not a slow summer for us…my hubby and I are each in launch/growth mode for new businesses. Kids are in preschool and camps, having the time of their lives.

2. My husband is Mike. We met backstage at a music festival on the beach when I was 27, and we have been co-creating our dream life here ever since. Fun fact–I also fell in love with NYC at 19 when I went to with my grandma to visit her old Brooklyn stomping grounds, and would have moved there with a full grad school ride to Columbia…but I passed because I had too good of a thing going with Mike 🙂 Luckily, he has tons of family there, so we still get to go and get energized by the city pretty regularly. We have an incredibly inquisitive & brave 8-year-old daughter and a sweet & adventurous boy who’s 3. We also adopted a 4 year old border collie aussie mix 🙂

3.My business has evolved right alongside my life. In May 2011, we bought our first home—and the same month, I got laid off from yet another teaching job. I was done putting my future in someone else’s hands, so I left the classroom to empower educators and quietly started building a content strategy business on the side.
That business grew—and by 2016, it let me work from home after our daughter was born. I scaled this to multiple 6 figures by 2019. But, I was maxed out. My calendar was full, my energy was gone, and I knew if we wanted to grow our family, something had to shift.
So I made a bold decision: I stopped doing the work for others, and started teaching it.
Now, I help ambitious women get their message out in a big way—not just with copy and content strategy, but by coaching them through the self-doubt, perfectionism, and fear that keeps them stuck. Because I’ve been there. And I know what it takes to move forward—even when life feels full.

Sara Scott McDowell

IG: Sarascottmcdowell

1. I’m Sara. I live in Charlotte, NC. My littlest boy, Rhodes, just turned 2 yesterday (and has the fiesty-ness to go with it! 🤪). My oldest son, Paxon, is 4 and we’re navigating some new big emotions and fears right now. My husband, Jess, and I have been married for 10 years but it feels like a blink!

2. I love love love stepping back and watching my boys play together at this age. Pax is always wanting to be in charge of, or help Rho be safe, or learn something new…and Rhodes just wants to do things his way, without his older brother telling him what to do  it’s amazing to watch them work things out together, and come up with their own imaginative stories and games.

3. I’m currently a Vocal Coach for Christian Worship Leaders and Worship Singers (IG: Sarascottmcdowell). Over the last several weeks, I’ve been answering a nudge to pause, pray, and re-imagine some things. It’s been beautiful and brutal at times! But the growth for me internally has been unreal, and I’m starting to see the way forward into some next steps. Some things I’m really excited about in this next phase of my business is expanding beyond just a vocal coaching focus, and widening how I serve my clients. Also moving some of my focus off of IG and into some other options. These changes can be nerve wracking, but also exciting!

Chrissy Maale

IG: chrissymaale

1. I’m Chrissy. I live in Southeast Florida with my husband Randy of 17 years (which seems crazy to write) and our twin boys Jacob and Noah who are 14.
I grew up in NY and went to college in Boston, and then chased the sunshine down to FL in 2005 and it stuck! Since then all my family has moved down here from the NE.

2.  I love being a mom and for sure navigating motherhood has changed me inside out (for the good)! Both of my boys have Autism, Jacob is nonverbal and also started having severe seizures last year so navigating all the challenges and fears has been a rollercoaster for sure. But they literally amaze me every single day and teach us every single day how to be not just better parents, but better people!   We are for sure navigating a new phase right now moving through puberty 🤣 and it’s stretching us again to figure things out at this stage. The biggest way I’ve grown for sure is to let go, lighten up and just go with it because we are for sure all figuring it out together.  And the best I think we can do is just love them where they are and continue to be the next best versions of ourselves every day.

3.  I’m a business coach, helping women simplify their businesses so they can grow a business they actually love… while also navigating parenting and life!  Whether that means building it on the side to one day leave a corporate career like I did, or growing in the spaces while raising little or homeschooling, I love helping moms find the type of business, structure and strategy that will work around their actual life.
