Hard to believe that the half-way mark of 2018 is upon us! While I can’t believe I’m even typing those words, I’m more in awe of how much that has happened this year already, only six months in.

In the past six months alone, I launched a live group program, worked with one-on-one clients, launched a new ecourse, revamped my website and had a full-blown branding and photoshoot session, and now, I’m celebrating months making more than my 9-5 job…

While I am so grateful for everything that’s happened, they didn’t come without their challenges. Sure, traditional challenges such as putting in late hours, putting myself out there, and so on, but with each new stride, with every leap, I did so before I was ready, and that fear is honestly the hardest part.

If I’ve learned anything on this journey of entrepreneurship, it’s that you always must start before you’re ready. If you wait until you’re ready, you’ll probably never start. I certainly would not have, and wouldn’t be where I am today.

In fact, looking back, one of the only things I would’ve done differently throughout my journey would’ve been to take more risks sooner and stop overthinking every decision. When you have the courage to aggressively take the path toward your dreams, the obstacles seem to clear right out of your way.

So, what do you know could accelerate your success, but you’re waiting for the “perfect time” to move forward with?

Are you waiting for your website to be perfect before it goes live?

Are you waiting for a certain number on your email list before you launch something?

Are you waiting for X in your bank account before you invest in a coach or program?

Are you waiting for a time when you’re “less busy” at your day job?

In short? The best time to start a business is literally today.

Today, I encourage you to take action in the direction of something you’ve been thinking about, and not taking action toward, for far too long. Think of it as taking action from where you want to be, not where you are.

If we only take action based on how we feel where we currently are, that’s where we will always stay. You and I both know you’re meant for so much more than that.
