April Income Report- $62,774 as a Marketing Coach

April was a short month that packed a powerful punch. Travel, in-person events, work, inspiration, family time, and building… everything from the boom that came in March.

While I’m grateful for my revenue this month, it’s worth pointing out that it was 33% lower than in March (!).

This didn’t cause me to struggle, but I do want to normalize the ebbs and flows of business. If you have a month where your income is 33% higher or 33% lower than the month before, that is completely normal and you should not feel shame for that.

We deal with unpredictable revenue in a way that most people never have to. And that can genuinely be hard. But if you can prepare for it, plan around it, and stop pathologizing it, this lifestyle is so worth it.

April was one of the fullest months I’ve had in a while.

April Recap

Week two of spring break in Mexico.

We started the month finishing out our spring break trip with the boys. I shared more about this trip here.

Easter at The Peninsula.

We had family in town for Easter and celebrated at The Peninsula. Seeing the boys all dressed up for the Easter bunny is one of those moments that will live in my memory forever.

London with my husband.

For the second time this year, my husband and I carved out a trip that was just for us. This time it was London, and it was such a good reset. While there, I attended an entrepreneurship event and a small roundtable hosted by Emily Williams of I Heart My Life. She has such a gift for bringing people together and it was a beautiful reminder of how powerful those intimate, in-person rooms can be.

Social Media Marketing World in Los Angeles.

I spent four days in LA attending Social Media Marketing World solo, and it was eye-opening. The kind of event that reminds you how much there is to keep learning, how fast this world is moving, and how exciting that is if you’re paying attention.

The Grand Pursuit retreat in Brooklyn.

I recently joined The Grand Pursuit, a membership community for working moms, and this month we held a full-day retreat in Brooklyn. We heard Stefanie O’Connell Rodriguez and Tiffany Dufu speak. Stefanie is the author of the upcoming The Ambition Penalty, and Tiffany is the author of Drop the Ball and president of the Tory Burch Foundation. Both are women doing extraordinary work and I left genuinely inspired.

My son’s preschool benefit.

One of my favorite moments of the month, tucked right between all the travel. Being present for these little things is the whole point.

April Work Insights

It was a big personal and professional development month, which doesn’t always translate directly to revenue. And that’s okay. I’ve built my business to withstand the months where I’m filling my own cup, learning, and connecting. That’s by design.

What worked well:

Events and in-person connection. This month proved something I already believed: the energy you get from being in a room with other driven women is irreplaceable. From the Brooklyn retreat to the London roundtable to Social Media Marketing World, I came back to my desk with a level of clarity and motivation that no webinar can replicate.

Email marketing. Still my most consistent revenue driver. The months where I travel the most and post the least, my emails keep the business running. If you’re not prioritizing your list, this is your sign.

Selling a Paris VIP experience. I sold a Paris VIP experience this month, and the response to it has been so exciting that we’ve decided to make the second one a group retreat. If Paris has been on your mind, that’s worth a look.

What didn’t work:

Lead generation and ads. I’ve been neglecting both for a while now because life and business has genuinely been so full. I’m grateful that my ads run in the background, but nothing is truly passive, and this month I paid more than I should have for results that didn’t match the spend. It’s a good reminder that even the most automated parts of your business need attention. That’s back on my radar.

April Income Breakdown

April gross revenue: $62,774

As always, this income falls into two categories.

Passive digital product sales. My Passive Park kept running while I was in Mexico, in London, and in a conference room in LA. That never stops amazing me. Get the free 49-page Passive Sales Playbook here if you want to understand how this works.

Scalable Services and Mastermind. These two programs carry the weight of my coaching income every month. A handful of calls. A deeply engaged community. No private clients and no traditional launches. That’s the model.

I write these reports because I think transparency matters, and I think most of what gets shared online about entrepreneurial income is incomplete at best. The highs get celebrated loudly. The more moderate months tend to disappear. Both are the job.

If you want to build something that holds through the travel-heavy, life-full months, I’d love to talk. You can learn more about working with me here.
